Received a few more video game pins this week but as always I’m looking for more and any video games no one need anymore.

This weeks pin is a TROPICO 4 pin from Japan.

TROPICO 4 pin is a promotional item for TROPICO 4 in Japan for the Xbox360 game. Pin comes in a black two piece box with the words “TROPICO 4” in gold on the top of the lid. The pin is set in a black foam with a star cut out. The TROPICO 4 pin itself is a star that is gold inlaid with a red background and a raised gold palm tree in the center. The pin itself is very thick with a gold back, standard pin clasp and has no markings on back. The pin does come with a small piece of paper in black and white with word “TROPICO 4” at the top. There are four lines of Japanese writing and below that in English it states: “Copyright © 2011 Kalypso Media Group. All Rights Reserved., Published by Kalypso Media Group. All other logos, copyrights and trademarks are property of their respective owners. , Tropico is a registered trademark of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. used under license by Kalypso Media GmbH.” Value: $50+

I was able to pick-up a new Nintendo employee pin. These pins are getting harder and harder to find, at least ones I don’t have.

This pin comes from Nintendo of America HQ in Redmond, WA.  The “NOA” stands for Nintendo of America.  The Blvd (boulevard) was part of an internal program some years ago. The pin measures about half an inch square.

Video Game Recycling/Donate Project – New Video Game Pins

19 07 2013

I was able to get a few more video game pins. Not like I need anymore (I have over 500) but I try to save as many as I can. Most of the time people would not even think about video game pins and I know it’s a very small market because most people wear them and just throw them away. This is way there are not a lot of video game pins out there after about six months after being released. The even hard video game pins to get are the ones from video game companies that they give to their employees. Well that’s all for now.

This pin was given to employees on the 10th year of service.  The “I” in Nintendo is dotted with a small diamond chip. As you can see it’s still in the box it came in.

This pin was given to employees on the 9th year of service. The pin is still in its box.

These are the Nintendo pins I got today but I do have other Nintendo service pins from other years. It’s only taken me about eight years to get these two.

Day 15 of the Video Game Recycling/Donate Project

30 03 2009

MONDAY! MONDAY! MONDAY! First day of the week and trying to get going but I’m slow out of the hole. If everyone is like me you will not get going until Tuesday.

Now on the the subject at hand. Please help if you can in the Video Game Recycling/Donate Project. Toxic chemicals in our environment threaten our rivers and lakes, our air, land, and oceans, and ultimately ourselves and our future.

You can check out the project ideas and what we are trying to do on the about page. Please help if you can it does not matter if it is 1 or 100 games just so they don’t go in a landfill. Thanks for coming.
